Breast uplift: Things you should know
- An uplift alone will not increase your cup size, but it will give your breasts a more lifted appearance.
- This procedure is usually done on both breasts, but you can opt for an uplift on one side to correct any asymmetry.
- Since the incisions are made around the areola, this procedure leads to a reduction in the areola size.
- For more advanced sagging (known as ptosis), additional incisions may need to be made under the breasts. Our surgeon will tell you what to expect at the consultation.
- Please expect a recovery time of 2 to 4 weeks after the procedure.
- You will need to wear a post-operative bra for 6 weeks after the surgery to speed up healing and minimise scarring.
